Jesse Butler is a community contributor for We Are Local and The Big Sky Standard, bringing a passion for local businesses, authentic storytelling, and meaningful community connections.

A Montana native, Jesse owns Treasure State Payments, where she helps businesses streamline payment solutions while also working with organizations to build simple, effective marketing systems centered on authentic communication and video. Her experience as both a business owner and marketing strategist gives her a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing local entrepreneurs.

Jesse has a heart for community involvement and believes that strong communities are built through relationships, leadership, and supporting one another. In addition to her business, she serves on the board of the Montana Pro Football Hall of Fame and remains actively involved in youth sports and community initiatives throughout Montana.

As part of the We Are Local team, Jesse contributes stories that highlight the people, businesses, and organizations making a positive impact across Montana. She believes every community has individuals whose dedication deserves recognition and that sharing those stories helps inspire others to become more involved where they live.

Ryan Mills serves as an Account Executive for We Are Local, where he helps businesses connect with the community through meaningful partnerships, strategic marketing opportunities, and relationship-driven growth.

With a passion for serving others and building genuine connections, Ryan believes that every business has a story worth sharing. He enjoys working alongside local business owners to help them increase their visibility, strengthen their community presence, and become active participants in the We Are Local Network.

Ryan understands that successful marketing goes beyond advertising—it’s about building trust, creating relationships, and becoming known within the community you serve. His approach reflects the core philosophy of We Are Local: Relationships Before Transactions.

In his role, Ryan works closely with Community Partners to identify opportunities that align with their goals while supporting the broader mission of strengthening local communities.
